The Gem Labradorite Black sets an oval labradorite cabochon into a round plate of hand-beaten brass, mounted by hand onto 100% black linen and finished with natural flax piping. The stone carries that particular labradorite flash — smoky blue-green surfacing through charcoal — against the warm, hammered texture of the brass. Labradorite is the stone of the in-between. The Inuit of Labrador told of the northern lights caught inside the rock, and it has been associated ever since with intuition and quiet transformation.
