Teacup 002 | Louis Reilly

Thrown one at a time on the potter's wheel by Lees Summit-based studio potter Louis Reilly, this cup is finished with a high-temperature glaze made from naturally occurring domestic materials. The coarse, iron-rich stoneware clay is visible on the bottom third of the piece. The cup is dishwasher, microwave safe, and lead-free. 80-100 milliliters | 2.5" h x 2.75" w (Each cup is made by hand, sizes will slightly vary) Louis' work can be found in collections and galleries around the world. In addition to working as a potter, Louis is Director of KC Clay Guild, the nonprofit community-focused ceramic art center in Kansas City.
