This book project explores and tells the story of one of the most famous Italian brands in the world: Superga. It delves into the reasons behind the success of its most iconic and timeless model: the 2750 tennis shoe. Through a diverse range of materials preserved in the brand's archive – footwear, photographs, advertisements, catalogs, and objects – the narrative unfolds (in a non-chronological way), highlighting themes that help guide the reader through the extraordinary story of a company that is both part of Italy’s history and a driver of innovation and progress. Over its hundred-year history, Superga has given aesthetic and functional form to sports footwear, protective shoes, and leisurewear. It has shaped the imagination of a lifestyle that remains consistently contemporary.
