A new seating system of upholstery design sofa that embodies Gamma's ability to perfectly blend fine form and faultless functionality. One distinctive feature of Newport is the multi-density backrest cushions with a push-down mechanism and double hydraulic-piston function, allowing to rely on 2 different heights for the most comfortable seating position. It features a square silhouette with perfect proportions, decorative piping along the edges and a strikingly-elegant slanted seam detail which adds sartorial finesse and is a hallmark of Gamma’s artisanal touch. The family includes an armchair, numerous modules and a free-standing element featuring a handy coffee table with a top that is available in the variants featured in our ceramic and marble collections. Newport is a new seating system which can be easily adapted to a host of different settings due to its functional and modern design. Hard wood frame, seat suspensions in reinforced elastic webbing. Seat cushions in polyurethane covered with feather. Back cushions in polyurethane covered with wadding. Metal legs height 11" available in: chrome, dark chrome-titanio, burnished aluminum, burnished copper or painted metal. Folding bed not available. Back cushions lift up with air spring mechanism (max height 36"). Back cushions of corner elements S/D01 cannot be lifted. Stitching CUC 514.
