The conversion takes only a few minutes and is extremely beginner-friendly, with minimal risk of disrupting your settings. Your machine arrives factory-set to 14 mm (0.55 in), the most popular and beginner-friendly pile height for rug tufting. Please Note: While this is a true dedicated cut and loop pile tufting gun, we still highly, highly recommend the AK-V, which can also do both loop and cut pile. We recommend the AK-V over this machine because it has a longer lifespan.
