Large split your own/ prepare your own ammonite fossil

Large split your own/ prepare your own ammonite fossil. Limestone nodule collected from Whitby in North Yorkshire on the Jurassic coast, 180 million years old. As you can see from the photos the keel of an ammonite is visible in the nodule. The ammonite within can be revealed using a hammer, a hammer and chisel, or by using a dremel, or air tools from suppliers such as Zoic or Ken Mannion. We regularly use all four of those suggestions with these nodules. All of our nodules are natural stones found on the beach, and all have different quality of preservation within. The ammonite pictured is the exact one that you will receive.
