BREZZA BAROLO 2020

This is Brezza's entry level Barolo. Brimming with brightness of fruit, crushed red berries, orange peel, sage, mint and sweet spice. The Nebbiolo for this wine is sourced from four separate sites: San Lorenzo, Fossati, Ravera (Novello), and Bricco San Pietro. The vines are 30 years old and the wine is aged for 2 years in large Slovenian oak barrels (1,500-3,000L) that previously held past vintages of Brezza Barbera. The winery does not use new oak or toast the barrels to showcase the character of the fruit of Piedmont.
