Class: Needle Felted Pumpkins (9/20)

Sunday Sept 20th, 12pm-3pm. Reservation required. Join instructor Nichole Heady for a relaxing afternoon of needle felting and create your own sweet pumpkin trio to use as fall decor. Nichole will guide you through the basics of needle felting while leading you through the step-by-step process of making a pumpkin. No previous experience necessary! This three-hour class will provide complete instruction and you can expect to complete your first pumpkin and all the knowledge necessary to make two more at home. You will learn: Basics of needle felting and tips on successfully using the needles Discussing the different needle sizes and their uses Building a base core with wool batting Layering colors of wool roving to create exterior section shaping Strategies for covering bare areas Finalizing the overall pumpkin shape of the pumpkin Creating and adding a stem This class is designed for Adult Beginners and up. Materials: The class includes three hours of instruction in a small group setting, supplies not included. The required Needle Felted Pumpkin Kit (which includes supplies for three pumpkins) can be purchased in-store before or the day of class using a 15% off Class Discount.
