A Matchbox Lesney Gift Set G 7b Models of Yesteryear Empty Repro Outer Box Only . This set is referenced as G-7b issued circa 1964. The set contains the Yesteryear series models Y3, Y4, Y11, Y12, & Y13 of the era. This style is commonly known as the ‘D’ style box with the “Matchbox Series” arched banner in a Western Style font consistent with the individual models boxes of the era. There is an earlier box G-7a in the C style line-drawing format. This is a single piece Outer Box Sleeve Only. Suitable if you have a box inner tray but the outer sleeve is damaged or missing. The last photo demonstrates the reproduction sleeve fitting on an original tray and models so you can be sure it will fit for you. The models and tray are not included.
