In Music 5, students demonstrate their ability to create, perform, analyze, and respond to music while making connections to personal, social, cultural, and historical perspectives. By the end of the course, students will be able to read music notation, compose music, and improvise original melodies. Students will also apply what they learn through interactive learning activities and performances on a variety of instruments including, but not limited to, the tambourine, rhythm sticks, maracas, and the soprano recorder. * Prerequisites: None
