Antique Victorian paste bird pendant necklace
A converted diving swallow brooch, now a one-of-a-kind pendant. The brooch dates to the mid-Victorian Era, with a humble brass body and pavé set rhinestone or "pastes." She flies from a hidden bail. I added a vintage silver rolo link chain, marked for European silver. Measurements: 1 1/4" wing tip to wing tip. 11.6 grams. 18" chain. Era: Victorian, 1840s-1870s Markings: "835" for silver content on the chain
