Thrummed Mittens

The Dubbele Dutch “Classic Thrummed Mittens” were designed with the traditional aspects of the classic Eastern Canadian mittens. The pattern uses 100% wool and roving but the colour choice is yours, making them fun and modern. Thrummed mittens are made using tiny rovings that are knit into the pattern creating little hearts throughout, while making an insulating layer on the inside. You will be working in the round with double pointed needles from the cuff up to the tip of the mitten while adding a thumb gusset.
