FLYING CARPET

Flying Carpet is a whirlwind of raspberry, blue-green and warm yellow cotton yarn woven in a plain weave technique over a natural cotton warp. Plain weave is the simplest weave, obtained by interlacing horizontal weft threads on vertical warp threads, going over the first and under the second, over the third and so on. Because of such rigorous interlacing, the plain weave is lightweight and of the most solid construction. With the plain weave, the front and back of the fouta are identical.
