Malory Towers | Lace Weight Yarn | Millennial Nostalgia Collection
Malory Towers is an indie-dyed yarn from Chronicles of Cheryl dyed in small batches with a beautiful lace weight yarn. This stunningly soft lace weight yarn would be perfect for holding together in special projects, or crafting a unique lacey accessory. Welcome to Millennial Nostalgia, a hand-dyed yarn collection inspired by iconic cultural media from the 90s and early 2000s. Malory Towers was my favorite boarding school series from Enid Blyton in the early 2000s. Set after after World War II, the six books follow Darrell Rivers and her friends as they go through each school year. A charming coming-of-age story, the girls grow and learn, not without goofing around, pranking teachers, and each other. I do not count as our successes those who have won scholarships and passed exams, though these are good things to do. I count as our successes those who learn to be good-hearted and kind, sensible and trustable, good, sound women the world can lean on. Our failures are those who do not learn these things in the years they are here. 75% Baby Suri Alpaca, 25% Mulberry Silk 1 ply 459 yards / 420 meters 50 grams
