Pali 'Market' Woven Basket

Each Pāli basket is individually handwoven in a remote village in Myanmar, from new pallet strapping made from recycled plastics. Plastics are collected by locals from streets and beaches, recycled into pellets, then made into rolls of new strapping. The Burmese weaving techniques have been passed down through generations. Every basket sold enables ongoing support of the artisans, village families and local Burmese communities. All baskets are fully recyclable at the end of their very long lives.
