(Thomson-Reuters) Description: The New Jersey Supreme Court has adopted a new Rule of Professional Responsibility, effective September 1, 2026, which will curtail sexual relationships between attorneys and their clients. The new Rule of Professional Responsibility, along with a few critical exceptions, comes after many years of the Supreme Court rejecting this restriction. This new ETHICS CREDIT CLE will detail the attorney and judicial disciplinary case law related to sexual relations between attorneys and their clients, and the disputes that are likely to arise under the new RPC. Our Lunchtime Learning courses count as live instruction. Your camera must be on the entire presentation. There are a limited number of slots available to attend this live zoom.
