A celebration of British wool and British making. Named after a dear friend of Margo's, whose family has close connections with the wool board — now British Wool — at the heart of this project, the Ackroyd Blanket is made from 100% British wool sourced from Shepley Yarns in the Pennine Hills of Northern England. The design champions local sheep farmers and the full, vibrant spectrum that British wool naturally offers. Drawing on the tradition of Welsh blanket weaving with a nod to Fair Isle pattern-making, the result is something soft, bold and graphic: a piece that celebrates the craft of British wool.
