Vuokko Kit PREORDER

Choose your favorite color by August 15, so that we can order your yarn in time for the Vuokko class. The color pictured is 246 - Burnt Orange. Vuokko is a huge lace blanket to cuddle under on a cold day. It starts off with a magic circle cast-on and is then worked in the round with four different lace patterns, doubling the number of stitches between each. The blanket has two versions: Circle and Square. You can either finish off the round blanket with a sideways lace, decreasing the edge stitches as you go. Or you can shape the circle into a square and add tassels at the corners. Your Kit Includes this Yarn : WoolDreamers Mota (50% merino, 50% wool, 230 m / 100 g), Shown in colour 246. The Circle version takes 9 balls of Mota, the Square version takes 11 balls.
