A wood salt-glazed fired teapot in stoneware. Wood ash and salt reacting with the sculptured surface. Matt glaze on the inside. Heavy salt and reduction, combining with the clay. A red Shino glaze inside. All my teapots have a filter with 5 holes in the pot body. A complete one-off as with all of this series of my personal work. this the 3rd of these teapots from the private gallery selection of my pots. these are not production items, only very special one-off pieces.
