Vintage European Grain Sack Crossbody Bag #20

These totes are made locally by The Tuckered Elephant from beautiful, authentic, European grain sacks dating back to the early 1900s. Each sack was handwoven with distinct stripe patterns identifying which family and or village the grain belonged to when transported to market or to the mill to be processed. Sometimes, an initial or monogram was also hand stitched on. The inside is fully lined with a fun fabric to match. A zippered pocket keeps your phone, keys or other small items organized. Grain sack has been prewashed to give it a softer feel. Handmade in nearby Tallahassee, Florida, each one is unique and may feature slight flaws or variations in color as any vintage item would.
