About the Piece: This vintage pair of Navajo silver and coral earrings works in just about any collection of Native American jewelry. You can pair them with so many looks. They're understated and modernist in style. In fact, they're reminiscent of some of the jewelry you'd see at the Wheelwright Museum's Julian Lovato exhibition. Unsigned except for a "sterling" stamp, the earrings are smaller in scale but larger in presence with their raised stone setting. The earrings measure 1" long x 11/16" wide and are comfortable clips, so can wear them whether or not you have pierced ears. These little stunners come from the collection of a dear friend, Sally, who left the world of big business to work at a few different Santa Fe art galleries. Most recently, she worked with me at Martha Struever's. You may remember her energetically assisting at our celebrated contemporary jewelry section during our annual August shows at the Eldorado Hotel.
