This coffee comes to us by way of Kalsada Coffee -- an organization championing Philippine specialty coffee. The Philippines have a deep coffee history dating back centuries but have largely been overlooked as a source for specialty coffee. That's rapidly changing and for good reason. Much of Kalsada's coffee is consumed domestically where there is a strong and growing specialty market. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have been able to buy some of their limited exports. This lot is from their operations in Mindanao. They base their operations there out of Pigtauranan and mill coffees from throughout the region. The coffees are exceptional & deeply sweet. This is a balanced cup with some gentle acidity and an essence of cooked strawberry in the finish. Harvested 2025. 1,200 - 1,800 MASL. Mixed Varieties. Washed.
