An evolved model for dynamic driving, designed to fit a wide range of feet and featuring the rigidity of carbon fiber. ❶ Design and Construction - Essence The Anima Evo is an evolved model based on a driving shoe with an open lacing structure and wide fit to accommodate more aggressive driving. The traditional IDEA last has been expanded to 4E, and a bucket insole has been adopted to provide firm support for the heel and arch. Carbon fiber has been incorporated into the sides to increase rigidity and stability during cornering and pedal work. ❷ Material and Expression The upper is a combination of Negroni's original shrink leather made from rawhide from Hokkaido and carbon split leather, and the side panels are made of real carbon fiber. The soft texture of leather and the hard look of carbon fiber combine to create a presence that is both still and dynamic. While maintaining the beautiful balance of the reproduction design, the contrast of the materials brings out a modern sporty feel. ❸ Comfort and responsiveness The bucket insole provides firm support for the heel and sole of the foot, while the carbon fiber on the sides enhances lateral rigidity. This reduces foot movement during high-speed cornering and continuous pedal operation, enabling precise control. The wide forefoot maintains a natural spread, resulting in sharp overall response. ❹ History and Background - Legacy The Anima Evo is based on Negroni's archive model, the Anima, and has evolved in materials and structure to suit modern driving styles. While maintaining the comfort of a wide fit, the active use of carbon fiber material gives it a character more suited to sporty driving. ❺ Vision Providing reliable stability and precise handling even during dynamic driving without sacrificing comfort. Anima Evo is an evolved wide-fit model of Negroni that demonstrates its true value in any driving environment, from everyday use to the circuit. - Upper: Negroni original shrink leather (cowhide | Hokkaido rawhide) + carbon split leather (cowhide) - Sides: Carbon fiber - Lining: Cushion lining (polyester) - Insole: Negroni bucket insole (polyester/EVA) - Sole: Driving rubber sole (synthetic rubber) The upper, lining, and insole are made in Japan, while the sole is made in Italy. The final step, attaching the sole, is done one pair at a time at the Negroni Factory Tokyo in Tokyo.
