DC Maxwell is a Melbourne based singer-songwriter. A sharp songwriter and a wild live performer, DC Maxwell music is reminiscent of 90s alt-rock artists like PJ Harvey, Nick Cave and Nirvana. Formerly the teenage frontman of the high-octane punk band Roidz, Maxwell has grown up to become a fierce performer and songwriter who is known as a sensational live act. He has opened for Future Islands and Alex Cameron. His debut album Lone Rider was released in 2023 via Danger Collective Records (US), and received widespread acclaim from Rolling Stone AU, Bandcamp, KEXP and more.
