Abstract Stone Mosaic 16"x16"

Nature-inspired abstract mosaic composed of weathered slate, river stones, pottery shards, hand pulled glass rods (Filati), Smalti (molten glass), seashells, driftwood, and metal wire (to name a few). Most of these elements are thoughtfully gathered along California’s coasts and forests. In the studio, these materials are meticulously cut, shaped, and individually hand-set into sculptural compositions that honor their inherent character, evoking nature’s quiet cycles of change, resilience, and time. Commissions are welcome.
