Gilt bronze, about ¾ (0.71”) in height shaped as a leaf evidently of the hawthorn tree. That image appears in the arms of Hawthorne, Thornton and other variants of the name. This would have been worn by a lady of noble birth, taken from her family arms. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. On an 18” gilt silver neck chain for modern wear.
