We Taste: Wild Strawberries & Blueberries, Lemon Cake, Elderflower Saft (Cordial), Sparkling Wine, Pineapple, Milk Chocolate Region: Central America & Africa Process: Anerobic & Natural There's a little cottage, lovingly called “the Yellow House”, in the little community of Lilla Fagerdala out in the Stockholm archipelago where our family gathered every summer. It was a special Place, a second home to us. This blend embodies the sweet berries, fragrant flowers and bright sunshine of our time at that cottage. It opens with a sweetness reminiscent of the wild strawberries and blueberries that grew around the Yellow House.Then a Sweet floral note, similar to that of the elderflower saft we were given for fika as children, and a bright citrusy kick that we liken to a zippy sparkling white wine paired with a slice of lemon cake. This light and bright bland transports us back to those summers. We imagine sipping it on a cool Swedish morning out in the countryside, looking out over the water as we plan the day ahead.
