Gilded Octopus Serving Tray | small 13 inch

This octopus tray was a labor of love. The design is intricate and made me go crossed eyed several times while working on it. Both silver and gold metal leaf were used, to make this a truly special piece. The pictures are taken in both direct sun, and subdued indoor light to try and show the true colors. The background is a rich cobalt blue with subtle variations. A touch of gold shimmer was added to the resin to make this piece shine at any angle.
