Royal Nawaf marks the third chapter between Ormonde Jayne and Nawaf Aljamea, celebrating Ormonde Jayne’s home, The Royal Arcade, for centuries a vital passage through Mayfair, London’s epicentre of ultraluxury. Following the success of Oud Nawaf and Nawaf Zaffran, Ormonde Jayne now adopt a new identity which reframes the dialogue and is truly regal. Entering with a vivid blood orange, gently bittersweet, entwined with the dark juiciness of damson, together they create a polished and powerful overture. At its heart, an elegant white muguet brings a clean luminous lift, while black iris introduces a cool powdered depth. The soul of Royal Nawaf is sensual and assured. Framboise adds a crimson nuance, woven seamlessly into patchouli for gravitas. Tonka bean absolute settles the composition with an ambery warmth. Presence rather than proclamation. A fitting homage to the home of Ormonde Jayne in The Royal Arcade.
