The Sport Berkey replacement filter uses an Ionic Adsorption Micro Filtration System to remove or reduce various contaminants from water, including heavy metals and chemicals.

• The filter claims to eliminate or reduce up to 99.9% of unpleasant taste and odors, cloudiness, silt, sediment, chlorine, volatile organic compounds, toxic chemicals, trihalomethanes, heavy metals, detergents, and pesticides.
• The filter is designed to remove or reduce aluminum, cadmium, chromium, copper, lead, mercury, and other dangerous heavy metals.
• The filter should be replaced after 640 refills with municipal water or 160 refills with any water source.
