Goat Together: A Fuzzy Goat Retreat at The Paxton Two nights of stitching, laughter, and connection in charming Thomasville, GA October 2-4 (Fri eve - Sun early afternoon) We’re bringing back our beloved knitting retreat—new name, same Fuzzy Goat magic! Join us for two relaxing and joy-filled nights at The Paxton, a historic Southern inn just several walkable blocks (.7 miles) from Fuzzy Goat. This cozy weekend is all about connecting—with your yarn, your creativity, and a group of fiber-loving friends. Whether you’re returning or joining for the first time, this is your chance to unwind and stitch in good company. You'll be choosing your room at The Paxton when you purchase your retreat spot, each room is a single occupancy: please review our room info Your retreat includes: Two nights of lodging at The Paxton Porch PopUp with yarns to hold together A welcoming dinner and also pizza night Two Southern breakfasts Bespoke cocktail/mocktail hour Customized Fuzzy Goat SWAG bag Cozy, guided stitching sessions with Fuzzy Goat team Private shopping at Fuzzy Goat Plenty of unscripted time to explore Thomasville or relax on the wraparound porch This Fall's theme: Held Together Ask any experienced knitter and they'll tell you — holding two strands together changes everything. The fabric gets warmer, denser, more interesting. What looked like two ordinary yarns becomes something you couldn't have made with either one alone. That's what we're exploring this October, on the needles and off them. We'll dig into the actual technique — how to choose yarns that play well together, how to think about weight and texture and color when you're working held double — and we'll talk about what it means to be held together by a community of makers. You don't have to knit held-together to come. The company will be fantastic either way. We believe that great things happen when makers gather — and we can't wait to knit with you again. Rooms are limited to 13, so grab yours and pack your needles! Accessibility We’ll be enjoying venues around downtown Thomasville, all within a 15 minute (.7 mile) flat walk. To enter The Paxton, you will go up a few steps. A few of The Paxton bedrooms are upstairs without an elevator. Transportation The closest airports are Tallahassee, Florida (40-minute drive), Valdosta, Georgia (45-minute drive) or Atlanta, Georgia (4 hours drive). Refunds Cancellations prior to August 1 will incur a $75 fee. Cancellations between August 1 and September 1 will incur a $150 fee, even if your spot is filled from the waitlist. No refunds for cancellations after September 1 unless we can fill your spot from the waitlist. Dietary Restrictions We will follow up with a quick survey of your serious food allergies/dietary restrictions as we get closer to our event.
