About Annandale Distillery Nestled within the Dumfries and Galloway region of the Scottish Lowlands, Annandale Distillery is renowned for its craftsmanship and commitment to quality. Built in 1830, Annandale was shuttered for nearly 100 years, prior to its purchase and multi-million-dollar restoration by owners David Thomson and Teresa Church. After extension renovations and modernization, production recommenced in 2014, and Annandale’s first single malt was released in 2018. In 2025, Annandale released its first 10-year expressions to great acclaim. Annandale’s approach to whisky is unique from other distilleries in that every release in a single cask expression. The distillery has an immense focus on the cask management program, sourcing casks from around the world with provenance. Annandale’s single cask whiskies represent the pinnacle of artistry in the scotch whisky industry. Each bottle is drawn from a unique cask, resulting in distinct profiles that showcase the essence of both the whisky and the cask it was aged in. From the rich and peaty expressions of the Man O’ Swords label to the lighter unpeated releases of the Man O’ Words label, these whiskies capture the spirit of Scotland with a nod to two of Scotland’s most famed citizens, Robert the Bruce and Robert Burns.
