AOR ABF128 VHF Airband Bandpass FilterThe AOR ABF128 is a receive bandpass filter designed specifically for VHF airband listening on 108–136 MHz. By adding selectivity ahead of your scanner or wideband receiver's front end, it reduces strong out-of-band signals that would otherwise overload the first mixer stage — resulting in less interference and noticeably cleaner airband reception. Compatible with virtually any scanner or wideband receiver on the market, and suitable for use with both external antennas and directly under the whip aerial of a handheld receiver.Key Features Bandpass filter optimised for VHF airband: 108–136 MHz Reduces strong out-of-band signals that cause receiver overload and intermodulation Low in-band insertion loss: approx. 4 dB (VSWR 2:1) BNC female socket (antenna input) and BNC male plug (receiver output) — inline connection Compatible with all scanners and wideband receivers regardless of brand Suitable for external antennas and handheld receiver whip connections Passive design — no power required, no signal amplification Technical Specifications Filter type: Receive bandpass Passband: 108–136 MHz (VHF airband) In-band insertion loss: ~4 dB In-band VSWR: 2:1 Connectors: BNC female (input) / BNC male (output) Power: Passive — none required Note: Remove the ABF128 from the antenna input when monitoring frequencies outside the VHF airband, as signal strength on other bands will be significantly reduced.
