As a naturally derived dye, it offers a safe and gentle finish while carrying a deep cultural significance. The fabric is produced in eastern Hiroshima, a region long known for its heritage in Kasuri fabric. Today, only two mills remain that continue to preserve and evolve these traditional weaving techniques. It is woven on modified shuttle looms originally designed for vintage selvedge denim, resulting in a fabric that combines traditional craftsmanship with a unique, textured character.
