Herbal Unwind - Sat, June 27th @ 12:30-2:30PM
Join us for an afternoon of deep rest, gentle movement, sound healing, and herbal tea education designed to nourish the nervous system and invite restoration. This experience begins with soft, grounding movement to gently open and prepare the body for stillness. From there, participants will be guided into Yoga Nidra—a meditative resting practice often called “yogic sleep”—accompanied by immersive sound healing to support deep relaxation, balance, and inner calm. We will close with an herbal tea class and tasting, where we’ll explore the properties, energetics, and uses of different herbs while sharing tea together in community. This workshop is an invitation to slow down, soften, reconnect, and restore. No prior yoga experience is necessary. Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, water, and anything else that will help you feel comfortable and supported in rest. Mats and blankets are also available on site, free of charge if needed. Bios Jessica Haskell Jessica Haskell is a YTT-200 Certified Yoga Instructor with additional certifications in Yin Yoga, Sound Healing, and Herbalism. With over 10 years of experience in holistic healing modalities and a background in behavioral health, she is passionate about creating spaces that support nervous system restoration, self-discovery, and authentic connection. Jessica believes wellness is deeply individual and that healing is strengthened through community, curiosity, and lifelong learning. Through gentle movement, sound, plant medicine, and intentional practices, she guides others back into balance of the mind, body, and spirit. Misty Dawn Misty Dawn is a YTT-200 Certified Yoga Instructor with certifications in Meditation and Herbalism, with a special focus on Yoga Nidra and rest-based healing practices. Yoga has offered her a safe and grounding space to turn inward, reconnect with the breath, and release emotions and energy stored within the body. Her journey has also connected her to a supportive community centered around healing, growth, learning, and unlearning. Misty’s teaching style is nurturing, creative, and heart-centered. She offers students a space to soften, ground, breathe deeply, and reconnect with themselves—while also remembering lightness, laughter, and joy along the way.
