Blue Sunflower Ceramic Gongfu Teapot with Top Handle 170ml

This ceramic teapot draws on the traditional Chinese tí liáng hú (提梁壶) form, which is defined by its arched overhead handle. Sunflower and floral motifs in soft blue tones, punctuated by golden-brown speckles, decorate its surface, while the bluish matte glaze gives it a velvety finish. The arched overhead handle (also known as 'top handle') is elegant and beautiful due to its floral silhouette. A built-in spout filter keeps leaves out of the cup for a cleaner brew. The floral design is made with the traditional underglaze technique, in which colors are painted onto the unglazed teapot, then covered with a glaze before being fired at a high temperature.
