Chill 7 Day Travel Pass

Chill Travel Passes are a fantastic option if you want to have a taste of the Chill experience before committing to a full season pass or are traveling in the South Island. We also have some great non-ski day offers for you to enjoy (see below). You can use your Travel Pass anytime during the 2025 winter season. Chill Travel Passes give access to 12 ski areas in the the Southern Alps (and North Island- Tukino) with the flexibility to travel the South Island and ski or stay in the mountains with various offerings tailored to your needs. Where and how can I use the Travel Pass? Ski Area Lift Access at Mt Lyford, Hanmer Springs, Porters**, Cheeseman, Mt Olympus, Craigieburn, Broken River, Temple Basin, Fox Peak, Mt Dobson, Awakino, & Tukino. *Rainbow is not on the Chill Travel Pass in 2026 **Porters access is limited to a number of days depending on the Travel Pass you purchase, please see details below. 5 Day Travel Pass - 2 days 7 Day Travel Pass - 3 days There is no buddy day on the 7 Day Travel Pass. Non-Ski Day Offers are included on the 7 Day Travel Pass. You can use the clips on your Travel Pass towards other options at select ski areas. This is based on the value of the clips for the passholder listed below with the difference paid by the Travel Passholder. Adult - $95 off Non-Ski Day offer Student - $65 off Non-Ski Day offer Senior - $70 off Non-Ski Day offer Youth $45 off Non-Ski Day offer Child $35 off Non-Ski Day offer You can use a clip on your Travel Pass to go towards the cost of accommodation at the following ski areas. Bookings are required, please book directly with the ski area. - Mt Olympus, Craigieburn, Broken River, & Porters - Combo Rate - Ski & stay - Awakino You can use a clip on your Travel Pass to go towards the cost of a ski lesson at the following ski areas. Bookings are required, please book directly with the ski area. - Mt Lyford - Private lesson at Dobson (Sunday, Monday, & Tuesday only) - Private lesson at Porters Adult: Open Age to 65 Years Student: Full Time at a Tertiary Institution in New Zealand or Australia during the ski season (proof of full-time enrollment must be shown to obtain a student pass, student ID is not sufficient proof of full-time study). The onus is on you to provide us with sufficient proof eligibility for Chill Pass rates where required. If you cannot provide sufficient proof, a pass will not be issued and we have to ask you to upgrade to a pass at the applicable rate. Youth: 11 years - 17 years at 21st June 2026 Junior: 6-10 years at 21st June 2026 Senior: 65 Years or over at 21st August 2026. Proof may be required. If you are purchasing a Chill Travel Pass, you must be able to collect the pass from our shop in Central Christchurch or provide a shipping address with enough time for the pass to arrive (non-rural, business addresses are usually the quickest).
