Beyond The Hedgerow: Sixty Historic Sights In The Glens Of Antrim GOAHS

The Glens of Antrim have many well-documented sites of historic interest and importance. This book is designed to highlight some of the lesser known sights around the Glens , where one might utter “What’s That ?” During the Covid Pandemic the Society received a grant which enabled us to have some of these lesser known sights photographed and put on social media accompanied by a brief history. The resulting popularity and unexpected success of this project encouraged us to expand the idea into this publication to mark the 60th Anniversary of the Society in 2025. The majority of these sights are clearly visible from the roadside to ensure no trespassing onto private land is needed. We hope you will enjoy discovering these little gems in The Glens of Antrim.
