This is a single-estate ripe pu-erh tea wet-piled from Spring 2025 Nan Po Zhai (village) tea leaves. The tea trees are wild arbor and never sprayed. several decades old, growing largely without human intervention. Nan Po Zhai is the closest village to Bing Dao village in the county of Mengku. It lies 2km from Bing Dao village in a roadless area filled with centuries old tea trees. Nan Po tea is typically sold as Bing Dao as it's quite similar, but not the same. Thick, rich, and substantial, but with a sweetness and clarity that keep it from feeling heavy or muddy Pressed young, with excellent potential to settle and improve over time Tasting notes Aroma: Nutty and fruity with cacao and mushroom broth notes. Liquor: Deep thick brown and burgundy Flavor: Rich and smooth with moderate dark chocolate bitterness, but with a deep fruit and cream undercurrent. That will gradually fade, allowing the deeper sweetness, texture, and Mengku character to come more clearly into focus. Store in 50-65% RH and 70-90F, in an odor-free area, with minimal airflow.
