Sicilia DOC Carricante "Carjcanti" 2021 - Gulfi

"Carjcanti" is born from the meeting of the ancient Carricante grape variety and the distinctive terroir of the Hyblaean Mountains. Grown in the Campo Vineyard in Chiaramonte Gulfi, Carricante finds here a remarkably original expression, distinguished by pronounced mineral tension, remarkable aromatic depth and an outstanding capacity for ageing. The combination of altitude, significant day-to-night temperature variation and calcareous-clay soils helps preserve freshness and precision, while extended lees ageing contributes complexity and structure. The 2021 vintage has produced a white wine of rare personality, capable of combining Mediterranean energy, elegance and longevity in a truly distinctive way.
