Framed red Palestinian Tatreez Embroidery, Bethlehem

This multicolour tatreez embroidery has been hand-stitched by a women's cooperative in Bethlehem preserving the traditional art of Palestinian embroidery while supporting local livelihoods. Founded in 1969, the cooperative provides women in Bethlehem with the skills and opportunities to sustain themselves through traditional craft.
