All yarns are dyed with professional acid dyes in my smoke free cat friendly home studio. Minimal bleeding occasionally occurs with the first wash or two. Please wash separately the first time. I recommend that you hand wash all hand knits to ensure longevity. Wash in water that is room temperature using a detergent specifically for wool such as Eucalan or Soak. Hand made wool wash or woolite is not recommended as some of the chemicals can break dye bonds and can cause colors to fade over time. Water above 120 degrees Fahrenheit can also deteriorate these bonds. Every effort is made to represent colors in their truest form.
