Viperfish, Chauliodus sloani This is one of the scariest fish I've ever seen. Found only in the darkest depths of the ocean where there is no light, these predators lurk. Luring innocent victims in with its bioluminescent lantern, the Viperfish then stabs the curious prey with its insanely long fangs. There are so few life forms in the pitch black ocean trench bottoms, that it may be two weeks until the Viper feeds again. Nick recommends size: LARGE
