Join us for a delightful day of quilting inspired by the charm of a summer picnic! In this special hands-on event, you’ll spend time at a Handi Quilter longarm machine exploring quilting techniques while creating beautiful textures and designs. NOTE: Days 1 & 2 are geared towards those who not yet own a long arm, but are interested in trying them out and learning more. Day 3 is geared towards those who are current long arm owners looking to expand their knowledge. Our instructors will guide you through the fundamentals of longarm quilting including machine operation, free-motion designs, and exploring computerized quilting to add movement and personality to your projects. You’ll rotate through hands-on stations so you can personally experience how smooth and intuitive quilting can be on a Handi Quilter system. Whether you're new to longarm quilting or simply curious about how it works, this relaxed and welcoming event is the perfect way to try the machines, build confidence, and enjoy learning with fellow quilters.
