Farm Bike Safety
New Zealand’s top enduro bike riders are teaming up with Agricademy to deliver farm bike safety workshops across the country from early July to the end of September. Learn about how the skills used in racing can keep bike riders safe on farms. The body positions, the way pro riders navigate obstacles and maneuver up and down hills, are all skills transferable to the farm riding environment. While racing often emphasizes speed, enduro bike riders true talent lies in safe handling and using their skills through controlled speed. We aim to showcase an approach focused on mastery over machinery. You’ll do a short online course with quiz before an on-farm practical workshop. We’ll supply the bikes and the location. Usually the session will be from 9am to 1pm. You and your other participants must each complete the online component of the training before you attend the practical day. The online training is largely about health and safety, includes a short quiz, and will help with your health and safety record of knowledge. Additional dates and locations will be added over time so check back soon for more options in your area. All bookings are non-refundable. Best endeavours will be used to rebook on the next available course in your region. Pick your location and date and sign up now.
