The Jewish Book Club

Please note that participants will be required to bring their own books. The books can easily be purchased online or at a local bookstore. Singer (1936) Tuesday, Dec. 15 – Homesick by Eshkol Nevo (2004) Tuesday, Jan. 19 – The Netanyahus by Joshua Cohen (2021) Dr. Shana Rosenblatt Mauer has been lecturing on topics in Modern Jewish Literature for nearly two decades at a number of Israeli universities and colleges. She is part of the faculty of Herzog College and a lecturer at the Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies. Her work has appeared in Studies in American Jewish Literature, Holocaust Studies and the Journal of Jewish Identity. Her study of four unique Canadian Jewish writers is forthcoming in 2027 via Oxford University Press’s new collection on transculturalism in Modern Jewish Literature. Tuition: ILS 180 ($60)
