2022 Chardonnay, Adelsheim Vineyard

.Oregon Chardonnay only got good once growers found clones suited to the cool climate, and Adelsheim was central to that shift. This 2023 shows citrus and orchard fruit with a tight, mineral finish, closer in style to Chablis than to anything from California. It's proof that Adelsheim's influence on Oregon wine extends well past the Pinot Noir that built his reputation.
