With a chrome over brass shell, eight lugs, and brass stick-saver hoops, the Sound King is a formidable rival of other popular brass snares of the era, at a fraction of the price. Dynamic, warm, punchy, and a great deal of fun to play. Great for a live room, and positively comes alive under mics. This particular example is in incredibly clean condition, with barely any marks on the chrome.
