They are primarily used for air/oil separation catch cans. MEASUREMENT The sizing of the fitting is given based on the ID of the hose connected to it, not the actual fitting itself. The ID and OD of the fitting will measure more than the size listed on the fitting. No exact measurement from the actual fitting determines the size (in millimeters). The dimensions of the fitting may actually be much larger. Shown below is a male 19mm V2 quick connect fitting. 14-0963 V2 QUICK CONNECT, 12MM FEMALE TO 8AN ORB This fitting adapts the male side of a 12mm V2 quick connect to 8AN ORB male. These adapters may be compatible with other unknown engines not listed. Machined from 6061 billet aluminum. For corrosion protection, they are anodized type-II. INSTALLATION NOTES Always lubricate the mating O-rings with a light amount of petroleum jelly, o-ring lube, or motor oil prior to installation.
