The frame is moulded plywood with solid beech or dark walnut detailing, compact Japanese-modern proportions, nothing added beyond what the structure needs. Seat height sits at 15.4 inches, keeping the silhouette closer to the floor than most Western sofas. The Karimoku 60 philosophy means components can be replaced individually rather than junking the whole piece when one part wears out.
